GAM – Montessori Infant Toddler Cylinder Block (No. 2)

Cylinder Blocks are a Montessori Sensorial material used to develop visual discrimination of size. This is a simplified version, with only three cylinders, and is the second in the series designed for Infants and Toddlers by GAM (Gonzagarredi Montessori).

The three cylinders progress in diameter from thin to thick.

The knobs invite the child to use their pincer grip to remove and replace the cylinders, helping to develop and refine fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Made of solid beechwood with a satin smooth lacquer finish. Each cylinder is individually sanded and lacquered.

This is an educationalmaterialand it is recommended that it only to be used under the supervision of an adult familiar with the Montessori method of teaching and learning.
